What is going on with the patching?
I've spent the last 5 hours downloading 1.23 GB (which for some reason only moved the bar to 90%) and then it went back to create a patch and now it's started downloading another 1.22 GB ?
Is this normal? This literally takes hours and hours to download. 3rd world problems, but still, what the heck is going on?
EDIT: The current patch it is downloading is 789891_792006.
EDIT: If this thing is really going to download another 1.22 GB then I might as well leave it running over night. Basically a 24 hour patching experience. FML |

Yeah, don't know. I'm so angry with this stupid thing right now, but there is literally nothing I can do.
If I switch off my PC and just decide **** it, I'll deal with this tomorrow, I'm just going to have to download the same stupid thing again tomorrow. I can't bang the keyboard because the wife mocks me. I'm just so ticked off and there is literally nothing I can do about it.

This blessed download is really starting to work on my nerves. Downloaded the patch, stupid piece of blessed software, decided to download it again. Now it's taking forever to create the patch. Hasn't even started downloading. Been over 2hrs now and it's creating eve_online_789891_792006 31% complete. I've already downloaded this file. It took 6 hours to download. Wht it gods green earth is this damn thing doing. Is there anyone I can speak to that will tell me what the heck is going on? I havent been this angry and frustrated with "a game" in a long long time. |

Has the launcher been fixed now?
I have three copies of the client. With three directories in LocalSettings. Can't remember the exact names of the folders but they basically where the client stores all the settings and options and defaults. Overview settings, window positions, drop down defaults, market quickview, etc.
Is there a way to get the launcher to launch the client with the right set of configuration files depending on which account I select? Or alternatively, is there a way for the launcher to tell me which directory it was launched from so I know which account to select? |
